How much does a private Morocco tour actually cost?
It depends more on group size and trip length than most price lists let on.
Private tours in Morocco are usually priced per person, based on a private car, driver, and accommodation shared across your group: which means the per-person cost drops noticeably as group size goes from one traveller to two, three, or four, since the car and driver cost the same regardless.
As a rough range: a short 3–4 day trip runs from around $450–600 per person for two travellers sharing, a week-long desert crossing or imperial cities loop around $850–1,300, and a longer 9–12 day trip covering more ground from roughly $1,800–2,700, before accounting for luxury upgrades.
What moves the number most, after group size and trip length, is accommodation tier: a guesthouse versus a boutique riad versus a genuinely luxury kasbah stay can double the cost of an otherwise identical itinerary. Desert camp quality (shared versus private) is the other major lever.
