Morocco tours from Latin America
A long journey deserves a trip that is worth it. Private routes with your own driver-guide, planned around the flight you will actually take.
Why Morocco
Morocco offers a lot in one country: walled medinas, the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara and the Atlantic coast. For travellers from Latin America, it also carries echoes of home: Spanish is widely understood in the north of the country, and the Andalusian influence on cities such as Fez, Chefchaouen and Tangier will feel familiar to anyone who knows Spain.
All our tours are private, in your own vehicle with an English-speaking driver-guide, and Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking guides are available. Tell us your preferred language when you enquire.
Getting there from Latin America
Most journeys from Latin America connect through Europe, commonly via Madrid or Lisbon, with onward flights to Casablanca, Marrakech or Fez. Some travellers also connect through Casablanca. Total journey time depends on your starting city and connection.
Flight routes and schedules change often. Check current options with your airline or a travel agent before you book.
Because the flights are long, we suggest arriving with a spare day before the tour starts, and choosing a longer itinerary so the journey is worth the effort.
Time difference
Morocco uses UTC+1 for most of the year and moves to UTC+0 during Ramadan. The usual gaps are shown below. Daylight saving changes in some countries, so check the offset on your travel dates.

Entry and visas
Entry rules depend on your passport and change over time. Some nationalities enter visa-free for short tourist stays, while others need a visa or e-visa in advance. Please confirm the current requirement for your passport with a Moroccan embassy or consulate before booking flights.
Also check your passport's validity and the documents you may be asked for at the border.
Longer itineraries for a long flight
We recommend ten days or more, so that you are not crossing the Atlantic for a short stay. These two routes loop the country at an unhurried pace, and both can be adjusted.
