Ait Benhaddou
Ait Benhaddou is the best-preserved example of the earthen ksour that once lined the caravan routes south of the Atlas. A handful of families still live within its walls, and it's a regular film location, Gladiator and Game of Thrones among others, but arriving early, before the day-trip buses from Marrakech, is what actually makes the stop worth it.

8-Day Morocco Photography Tour from Casablanca
The Hassan II Mosque's scale, Ait Benhaddou's golden-hour walls, and two nights in the dunes for sunrise and sunset: a route built around light and timing rather than a checklist.

9-Day Morocco Photography Tour from Marrakech
Built around light, not sights: golden hour at Ait Benhaddou, sunrise over the dunes, and Chefchaouen's blue lanes in the quiet of early morning, with a schedule that treats waking up at 5am as the plan, not the sacrifice.
