Tangier to Chefchaouen

South via Tetouan, a UNESCO-listed medina rebuilt from 1492 by Andalusian refugees after the fall of Granada, then on into the Rif mountains toward Chefchaouen, founded in 1471, arriving in time to walk the blue lanes as the light turns them a deeper indigo before sunset.
